If you are reading this, there is a very likely chance I am either dead or at the very least in a hospitalized state. It’s currently 12:43 PM as I am writing this, and every minute I spend writing is another step closer to certain death. I have no way to escape this hellhole I used to call a house, not only because of poor transport but because she won’t let me leave. So to make sure all of my suffering at least contributed to something useful, I’ve decided to make this little article for everyone in town to see. I’m aiming to warn everyone in town about what I’ve experienced, and give some advice on what to do against this creature. The following is a summary of the last nine days of my life, and I hope with every fiber of my being that it will be used to save at least one person out there.
My name is Tim Anderson, and this is my story.
I woke up at 8:30 AM just like every other regular work day. I remember getting up, making some eggs for breakfast, and then taking a warm shower to freshen myself up a bit. I got dressed up with a white t-shirt, some black pants, and a red tie before leaving the house for my job. I work at an office where most of the time I’m just crunching away at paperwork, and sometimes playing little computer games if I have free time. My favorite one is the tennis game but I can’t ever beat that damn white rectangle for the life of me. The workday itself was the same as usual, boring and bland but that was just the way I liked it. Eventually I got to go home at around 4:00 PM like I always do, hopping into my car and driving away from the workplace.
I got out of my car after around a half hour of driving, feeling the relief wash over me as my feet hit the floor. I had just gotten off of a six hour shift at the office and I was completely exhausted. All I wanted to do at that moment was just go inside and get whatever sleep I was capable of. I pushed open the door and practically forced myself to walk upstairs, almost falling over as I made my way down the hallway. A large part of me was tempted to fall asleep right in that hallway, but I still persisted in the bedroom. My head crashed into my pillow, and just like that I was thrown into a peaceful sleep.
It was around midnight when I heard something pushing against the ceiling. I remember feeling confused and almost afraid, a part of me thought I was just stuck in a dream. I sat up and began rubbing my eyes before looking at the doorway and seeing “her” for the very first time. In my doorway was a woman, she was so large that her head pushed up against the ceiling. Her eyes were weirdly unparalleled like a messy art piece. Her mouth was wide and full of eerily white teeth. It was almost like looking into the mouth of an angel. Her hair looked curly and long, slowly dangling in the dark as she continued to stare deeply into my eyes. There was what looked to be a black top hat on her head, but I couldn’t make out all of the details of what she was wearing. All I could see was an utterly massive body with an off yet humanoid face.
I was scared shitless when I was this thing, I couldn’t even move an inch, but thankfully she didn’t move either. We both just stared at each other for what felt like hours and hours on end. Every part of my body was screaming for me to run but I was too terrified to listen. And even if I had the courage where would I even go? She was almost fully blocking the one exit, and she could easily just grab me if I went out the window near my bed. So all I could do in response to all of this is just simply stare back at the damn thing. I was waiting for it to make the first move so maybe I could get past it and run. But that’s not what happened that night.
All that happened was a prolonged starring contest between me and the large woman, her displaced smile never leaving her deformed face. At first I thought it was just some sort of sleep paralysis, but if that were true I wouldn’t be able to move. This was real, it was all very real. Eventually she began to move, but as I tensed up and prepared to jump out of the way I realized something. She wasn’t moving towards me, she was moving down the hallway. The entire time she maintained that eye contact until she was out of my line of sight. I heard her footsteps slowly tap down the hallway for a few seconds before jumping out of bed and bolting down the hallway. I jumped down the stairs, crashing into the railing in the process but I didn’t care. The adrenaline numbed any possible pain I could have felt from smashing the railway in half. My heart was pounding like hell as I got close to the entrance and in a moment of sheer panic I jumped out the window.
I remember feeling the wood bracings turn into splinters on my skin and the glass stabbing into my arms but I couldn’t even register the pain at the time. Every fiber of my body was focused on one thing and one thing only, my survival. As I began running over to my neighbors house I looked back to see how close she was, only to see nothing but air behind me. She wasn’t chasing me at all, I looked up to the windows to see if she was watching me but there was nobody there. Regardless I still banged on my neighbors door and begged for them to call the police.
Around ten minutes later the police arrived at the scene and began searching the house. I didn’t see the whole thing since I had to be rushed to the hospital for my injuries. I didn’t have any broken bones, I was just bleeding from all the glass. After getting some stitches I was informed that nobody was found in the house, as well as there being no fingerprints on the windows or doors. They decided to ask for more details on the matter but after I told them they began suggesting that it was most likely just a sleep induced hallucination. One of the officers looked at me and said “look, you’re not in trouble or anything but please be more careful next time. I get hallucinations are scary but sir you have to make sure what you’re seeing is real before you go around banging on doors and scaring the neighbors like that. You could’ve really hurt yourself back there.” And just like that they left the hospital, not even offering me a ride home.
By the time I was driven back home by a taxi it was 3 in the morning. I was too scared to sleep or even go in my house for that matter. But there was nobody I had to turn to, so I walked inside at a slow pace. I grabbed a kitchen knife from downstairs and practically flew into my room, locking the door behind me and checking the closet. I sat there for an hour or so before finally going to sleep. When I woke up I was flooded with memories from last night and began roaming every part of the house just to make sure she was fully gone. The knife never left my hand until everything was checked and locked.
I then went to work for another grueling 6 hour shift and came back almost just as shaky as before. I walked inside and everything looked completely untouched, I walked into my room and sat down for a while. Until I heard a noise in the hallway. The sound of slow and heavy footsteps getting closer to my door. If I ran in that moment she could have easily chased me down. So instead I just sat there, clenching my fists as I stared at the door. And just like last night, she walked to the right side of the frame and started starring again. Her gaze never left my trembling body as I looked right back at her. Eventually I had the idea to take a picture of her, so I grabbed my phone and opened the camera app. I waited a few seconds before snapping a picture of her, I was half expecting her to just lunge at me the moment I touched the screen but she just stood still. There wasn’t a care in the world going on in her mind. She’d just stare blankly into my eyes, not moving a muscle.
Eventually she walked back down the hallway, when I peeked my head out she was just standing at the end of it just as motionless as before. I walked outside the house and called the police again, ready to show my newfound proof that there was somebody in my house. When they finally got here I immediately showed the picture of her I had saved on my phone, they looked at it for a while before inspecting the house again with guns drawn. Just like last time they didn’t find a damn thing, not even a shoe print on the floor. It was like everything was perfectly cleaned up right before they went inside. When they came back to me they said there was nothing they could find and began to get highly suspicious of my evidence. Surely if she really was in the house there would be some type of evidence, but given the lack of anything and her strange physical appearance they thought I was faking it.
I tried to explain myself but before I could get another word out they shut me up and said “Look sir, we’re not trying to call you a liar or anything but if there was a real emergency then wouldn’t there be some fingerprints? Or some hair samples from her head pushing against the ceiling? And wouldn’t she look like an actual human being with an actual human looking face? I understand if you need mental help and need somewhere to go for a while but respectfully you shouldn’t fake somebody being in your house, sir.” They didn’t believe me, even with the photographic proof I had and I damn sure wasn’t going to a mental hospital. What If my job laid me off while I was gone? What If she kills me the moment I get back? Hell, what If she just follows me there? So with nothing else to do, I apologized to the officers and they went back to the station. I stood there for a while not knowing what to really do at this point, The police clearly don’t believe me with or without evidence. I could book a hotel but I’m currently living paycheck to paycheck, a hotel wouldn’t exactly be the most cost effective choice here. I can barely afford basic necessities as it is already, and I have nobody that I could live with that isn’t anymore than 30 miles away that I also barely even talk to. And that would hinder my drive to work in the morning. So with no other option, I reluctantly went back inside the house.
When the door shut behind me it felt like every shred of safety went out of the window. Everything was so eerily silent, it was like somebody pressed the mute button on the whole house. I immediately ran back into my room, too afraid to get anything to eat. I locked the door behind me and hid in my room for the rest of the night, starving and scared. The only thing that comforted me was my phone and tv as I forced myself to sleep. Despite all of the thoughts running through my head, exhaustion finally kicked in and put me out for the night.
I didn’t have to go to work the next day, so when I woke up I just sat on my bed looking around my room. I was wondering if she broke into my room while I slept but I didn’t see anything. After a few hours I reluctantly came to the kitchen to finally eat something after hours of starving myself. I didn’t even feel like cooking so I just grabbed a few slices of white bread and tore into them like a savage animal. Despite it being such a plain meal it felt like the best thing I’ve ever eaten. But that was probably due to desperation and hunger I was feeling at that moment. After wiping the crumbs off my mouth I was gonna start actually cooking a decent meal but suddenly I heard the tv in the living room turn on.
I stood still for a few seconds before grabbing a kitchen knife and walking to the living room. There wasn’t much else I could do, Police don’t believe me and I’d highly doubt any of my friends would either. So I might as well just try my best to face it head on instead of constantly running from it. I slowly peaked my head around the corner until I saw the woman again. She was sitting in my arm chair, staring deeply into my eyes as the TV continued to play. Her hands gripped the chair hard, her nail-less hands piercing the sides of it. The hands were also pretty large, they were so big they could probably palm your head like a basketball. It looked less like skin and more like smooth wax, the tips of the fingers were sharp and pointy almost as if knives were embedded into her fingers.
The tv was playing a random news channel that neither of us were really listening to. I would’ve turned it off but I didn’t want to risk any conflict with the strange lady, so I just slowly backed off into the kitchen. I made myself some eggs while also listening out for any movement in the living room. While I can’t do much to her, It’s still good to at least try to keep track of where she is. After I was done cooking I checked the living room again, despite not hearing anything she was fully gone. The TV was still running the same news channel, and it was still just as boring as usual. I turned it off before going back upstairs with my plate of eggs.
Surprisingly enough I didn’t see her for the rest of the day, she was completely gone from my residence. I still locked my bedroom door out of instinct, but nonetheless It was a peaceful day in a week of terror. The next few days weren’t really eventful, It was just the same song and dance as before. She comes at night or day, stares at me for a while, and then just leaves like nothing happened. A creepy yet ultimately harmless loop that I had no way out of. Sometimes I would look out the window and see her in the forest near my workplace, watching the building. And sometimes If I stared at her for too long, she would look right back at me. It always creeped me out, but again there was little to nothing I could ever do about that. As much as I wanted it to stop, nobody would ever believe me about her. But at least one thing I can be grateful for, is that she hasn’t done anything violent so far.
But then the seventh day came.
Everything started off relatively normal in comparison to the previous days. I woke up at 8:30 like always, making myself some eggs for breakfast in the process. The entire time I could feel the strange woman staring at me from the other side of the room, but at that point I was almost completely used to it. It’s not like I wasn’t creeped out or anything, but I was getting kinda numb to her presence for the most part. As creepy as she was, she wasn’t really a threat so far. To be honest a part of me started to believe it was all in my mind. After eating my eggs I left for work, it was an uneventful yet pleasant shift. The only thing I had to do that day was 10 pages of paper work, a pretty easy day in my book.
The drive home was better than most, there was no traffic for a reason I haven’t learned yet. I decided to stop by at a nearby burger joint since my lunch was pretty lackluster to say the least. The food was pretty good, and the music they were playing was something actually listenable for once. I wish I went there more often now that I’m looking back on things, but it’s far too late to reminisce on that now. After finishing my meal I got back to driving home, I was already bracing myself to see that creep again. I let out a sigh as I turned onto the main road, ready to just ignore her like usual.
But when I finally arrived at my house, it all went wrong.
I parked in my driveway and slowly got out the car, stretching my back as I turned around to face the house. I walked inside of the house and immediately made my way to the living room to relax for a while. But the moment I made it there, I froze in place. In the living room I could see the woman standing in the corner completely drenched in blood. The mass amounts of dried blood mostly covered her face, hands, and feet. Despite how messy the stains were, there wasn’t a single stain in the house. But that was probably due to the blood drying, it’s pretty easy for that to happen when the person is almost always standing still. I haven’t felt fear like I did in that moment since the first day I saw her, my heart was pounding in my chest as she looked at me with her wide crooked eyes.
Without wasting another second I bolted upstairs and locked my door, I was not risking the possibility of being even remotely around her in that state. I remember hiding under my covers like a baby, I didn’t even have the courage to look at the door. I was just sitting there, waiting to hear something, anything at all. But no, there were no sounds for that night. Only the sounds of me trembling and panicking in the dark, until I finally fell asleep once more.
The morning after that was filled with dread and paranoia, every second I was in that house felt like death was creeping on my shoulder. When I got to the kitchen I was too scared to cook so I just shoved several pieces of bread in my mouth. I drank some water, got dressed, and speedwalked out of the house. Due to how fast I got there, I got around fifty minutes of spare time in the work parking lot. Most of it was me running all of the events through my head over and over again, eventually opening my phone to read the news. I thought maybe reading an article or two would improve my mood a little, but my mood only tanked when I saw the headline “man found heavily mutilated in his own bedroom, police have no new leads.”
I instantly started reading as fast as I physically could to see if it had anything to do with the now bloodied woman in my home, and eventually my grim expectations were confirmed true.
“Yesterday at 2:13 PM the neighbors of the unidentified man heard screaming from his house. Fifteen minutes later the police arrived and began searching his house, eventually finding his bedroom door completely ripped apart. The bedroom was covered in blood, and the ripped apart bones of the former man were scattered around the room. It was like an animal came in while he slept and ripped him to shreds. Currently, the police only have one theory relating to who or what might be responsible for this: The victim’s previously reported sightings of a tall woman ten days before the attack occured.”
I could feel my heart racing in my chest as I read every word, my whole body froze like a deer in headlights when I read the “ten days” part. I was currently on day eight, and I was hoping with every fiber in my body that she wasn’t holding a consistent pattern with her kills. I was practically sweating bullets, I only stopped when I realized work was in five minutes. Three of those were spent forcing my body to calm down so I wouldn’t cause a scene in the workplace. The workday itself was a lot more tense than usual due to the article, but ultimately the same day of work I was always used to. The drive home was even worse, I gripped that wheel for dear life the entire time. Eventually I arrived home and sat in my driveway for what felt like an hour. I didn’t want to go back, I never wanted to go back. But I had no choice, I had no money or friends to fall back on for help. I guess being a broke lonely bastard catches up to you someday.
I got out of my car and peeked through all of my windows like a perverted stalker. I didn’t see her anywhere, but just to make sure I triple checked each individual window. I decided that booking it to my room was likely the smartest thing I could do in that situation, not before grabbing some food and water of course, I was not starving again. Eventually I decided to go inside, looking around each corner as I made my way to the kitchen. I grabbed some bread and water before rushing to my bedroom, I locked the door behind me and thoroughly checked every part of that room. The rest of the evening consisted of me eating alone in my room while reading more recent articles. I was trying to find more information relating to the strange woman. The notes below consist of all the information I could find of her after the deep dive.
She consistently attacks ten days after the initial stalking.
She has around 5 male victims and 2 female victims
Most kills have been in a similar fashion to the most recent one, stomped in chests and ripped apart skulls.
Police consistently never believe them due to a strange lack of fingerprints and signs of a break in.
Police have never caught on to her yet, nor found a good DNA sample.
She seems to deeply obsess over her victims.
She consistently kills them on the tenth day of stalking them.
The instance she’s ever gotten violent before the tenth day is when one of the women she stalked apparently attacked her. She was found with knife-like marks on her arm, and paired that with the talk about an 8 foot tall woman with a messed up face she was sent to a mental hospital. When the tenth day came, there was a “break out” of the mental hospital along with a trail of blood. There were no fingerprints on the ripped apart back doors.
As I laid in my bed desperately trying to sleep, I got the urge to use the bathroom. After getting up to go piss, I looked out the tiny restroom window and saw her watching me from my backyard. She kept staring at me for a while before slowly walking to my back door, and without a second of hesitation I ran downstairs. The moment I reached the kitchen I slammed myself against the door before locking it as fast as physically possible. As I stepped back she looked through the glass with an annoyed expression, her smiling face replaced with a deadpan look. Eventually that smile came creeping back as she lifted up her pointed finger. The pointed tip of it began to grow, the top and bottom edges warping and expanding. She eventually put it into the key hole, filling it up before unlocking the door.
The moment she opened it I grabbed a knife out of the drawer, ran right back into my room, and locked that door behind me. Trembling in my room as I tried my best to listen out for footsteps, but I only heard them when they were right at my door. I was surprised by how slow and quiet she could be despite how large she was. After stopping at the door she unlocked it with her finger and slowly opened it. Every tick of the door hinge made my heart rate go up more and more, I felt like the moment she got inside I would be ripped in half just like the poor suckers before me. But just like all the previous times she didn’t do anything, all she did was stare straight at me as she remained slightly crouched in the doorway. Eventually she looked at my hand and saw the kitchen knife deeply clutched between my fingers, fixating on it deeply before looking back at me. She then tilted her head, widened her eyes, and eventually opened her mouth to say something.
“You’re gonna taste so good when I finally get to you.”
She spoke with a whispery, soft, yet perverted tone. And she stared at me like a malnourished child looking at a full course meal. It was like a strange mix of obsession and hunger towards me. A part of me thought she was gonna kill me right then and there, but she simply just stood there like usual. Albeit with some wider eyes and a bigger smile. There was a very long pause before she spoke again.
“You should spend your time wisely.”
Without any more words said, she slowly walked away into the darkness. Her silent footsteps blended into the rest of the house as if she was merely a piece of furniture. The only things I could hear were the sounds of her occasionally ripping something and opening a few doors. But regardless, I tried my best to get some sleep after the whole ordeal. When my eyes eventually shut I was plunged into a deep sleep. I woke up a few hours later only to see that my phone was snatched from my desk and my knife snatched from my hand. It confused me for a while but I didn’t waste any more time and went downstairs. It was the ninth day and I was not going to stay here and let her take my life. Unfortunately when I stepped outside I saw that my car’s tires had been mercilessly ripped apart, along with some of the metal studs being extremely bent and chipped. Anything in my yard that could even be slightly used as a weapon like my mailbox and lawn ornaments were broken in half and thrown aside. I was considering just ditching the car and making a run for it but when I looked behind me I could see the Woman in the front doorway in a crouched position, almost daring me to make a run for it just to immediately bring me back inside.
Though it pained every part of me to do so I ultimately had no choice, I had to get back inside the house. I knew I probably would have died if I didn’t anyway, so I chose the option that gave me more time. I decided to go in the kitchen for some breakfast, but I was met with another torn up environment yet again. All of the knives were jammed into the cabinets and ceiling, the one I kept for self defense was jammed into the marble counter top. After a while of pulling the knife came out, as well as several rock sized fragments from the marble. The knife was a bit beat up but was also way more jagged and sharp. I grabbed the end of it, took a deep breath, and began bending it back to a semi fixed state. My hand got cut in the process but I didn’t care, I was just glad I had protection. I shoved it into my pocket before checking out the damage to the rest of the house.
The backyard shed had the metal lock bent around the doorframe, fully sealing it shut. The living room house phone was completely ripped apart as well as being unplugged. The bathtub was filled with all of the sharp objects that were in the bathroom, most of them were crushed and bent in irregular ways. There were claw marks on some of my furniture, walls, and even some sharp indents on my floors. And to top it all off, the TV in the living room was playing that same boring news channel, though this time they seemed to be having an opera segment of sorts. I may be wrong though since I didn’t pay too much attention to what was playing, I was far too focused on everything else in the house. Eventually while I was searching I found one of my untouched work notebooks from a few years ago. After looking at it for a while, I decided that I would use it to document everything that’s happened to me so far. At least then I could do something to go against this thing, even if it was miniscule in impact.
And that brings us back to the current day. It is currently 5:24 PM as I am finishing this, I’m locked in my room with the jagged knife from earlier tucked tightly into my pocket. I have also put my desk against my door, but if I’m being honest I heavily doubt it will really do anything. The only thing I’m able to do at the moment is brace for the inevitable and pray that I’ll be lucky enough to just be hospitalized, but even that is unlikely. And so I leave you with this message to whoever may be reading this. If you ever see that woman in your house, don’t bother to call the police. They likely won’t believe you even if you have proof, and they’re far too lazy to actively look into these cases to see a connection. The best advice I can offer you is to buy a firearm and get as far away from her as possible. Never go anywhere without scouting out the area first, she tends to hide in plain sight. And most importantly, document everything she does, especially when she gets injured. While I can’t say for sure you’ll ever fully escape her, you can at least put yourself at a lesser amount of risk. I really do wish I could give advice on how to kill it, but truthfully I don’t know the extent of how durable this thing is nor the full scope of what it’s capable of.
I may not have given the best advice, but at least I tried my best and stood my ground. And that’s good enough for me to rest peacefully after the painful end I will experience soon. Maybe if I survive, I’ll tell you guys if a knife really can hurt her. But that is unfortunately all I have for you.
To whoever is reading this, I wish you the best of luck in defending yourself against this thing. And as of now, this is likely my final goodbye.
