The lost episode generator invents an original children’s show that never existed and the episode that was never supposed to air, complete with what viewers reported and why the tapes vanished. It’s for lost media fans and writers tackling one of creepypasta’s most famous genres. Every result is fictional, free and generated privately in your browser.
How to use it
Generate a show and episode, then decide who’s telling the story: a former crew member, a collector who found the tape, or a forum of viewers who half-remember it. The genre’s defining classic, Candle Cove, is told entirely through forum posts, and that restraint is what makes it work. Explore more in our television and lost episodes category. Keep your show original: invented programs feel fresher than real ones and keep your story fully your own.

Frequently asked questions
Are these lost episodes real?
No. Every show, episode and broadcast is invented, so you can write freely without borrowing anyone else’s characters.
Why use an invented show instead of a real one?
Original shows avoid copyright problems and let you control every detail. Many of the most memorable lost episode stories feature shows that never existed.
What makes lost episode horror scary?
It corrupts something comforting from childhood. The contrast between a cheerful format and something deeply wrong does most of the work.
