Which creepypasta came first? This internet horror history quiz pits four famous stories against each other in every round, from early-2000s web journals to 4chan legends and modern viral hits. Pick the one that appeared online first and see how well you know where the genre came from.
How to use it
Each of the ten rounds lists four well-known creepypastas. Choose the one that was published or first appeared online earliest. We only use stories with well-documented first appearances, and the right answer is always at least a year ahead of the rest. After you answer, you’ll see the year for every story in that round, so by the end you’ll have a rough timeline of the genre. Want to read them in order? Start with Ted the Caver from 2001, then explore the famous creepypasta archive.
