This was in the early 2000s. A group of marine biologists, myself included, were in the Philippine Sea to study the effects of global warming on local marine wildlife. This was exciting to me for two reasons. One is that I was born in the Philippines and never had the
In the darkest parts of man’s subconscious lies the understanding that existence is two phased. What most don’t recognize is the space between being and not. Between the spaces of life exists a world where the veil has been skewed to the point of dissolution. Every time that something goes

The house is bigger than I expected. I knew they’d be posh, or they couldn’t afford a nanny in the first place. But they have fancy agencies for that sort of thing now; someone with this sort of money doesn’t need to advertise on a Facebook group. I fold the

Read part one here This is Inspector Arthur Knight and the truth is I do not know why I am writing this. Perhaps it is the long trained need to document everything, perhaps it is for some greater reason. All I know is I know I need to get this

If you’re reading this, you’re probably pretty confused. I know I was. I’ll explain everything, but I’m going to start at the beginning. That’s the only way that this will make sense, and maybe the only way you’ll believe me. It all started with that damn job. Mall security. Just
It’s fair to say there’s always been a darkness inside me. I never considered myself an evil or cruel person, but I was always drawn towards the macabre and twisted. I suppose that’s why I started my niche business, acting as a travel agent in the dark tourism industry. I’d

My name is Anthony Perkins. If that name sounds familiar, then you’ve likely seen my videos on TikTok and the like where I review toys and video games with my mom and dad. Don’t try to look them up, nor expect me to tell you the channel name. I’ll explain
James didn’t particularly like his job, or his life for that matter. He’d gone through the motions that everyone had told him to follow and had ended up where a ‘productive’ member of society should be: Working a dead-end nine to five, and knee deep in student debt. His job

“Mmm…” my hand slid over to my phone, attempting to tap the “dismiss” tab as the alarm blared in my apartment room. After missing it twice, I sat up and glared at the phone. My heart spiked. “Five-twenty-five!” I shrieked, jumping into the air and sprinting over to the shower.
I was eighteen at the time. I’d just graduated high school, and what was probably a really exciting and memorable time for most people was a stressful race against time for me. You see, my dad was very traditional; if I were going to be living in his house after
