Dead Bart

Estimated reading time — 4 minutes

You know how Fox has a weird way of counting Simpsons episodes? They refuse to count a couple of them, making the amount of episodes inconsistent. The reason for this is a lost episode from season 1.

Finding details about this missing episode is difficult, no one who was working on the show at the time likes to talk about it. From what has been pieced together, the lost episode was written entirely by Matt Groening. During production of the first season, Matt started to act strangely. He was very quiet, seemed nervous and morbid. Mentioning this to anyone who was present results in them getting very angry, and forbidding you to ever mention it to Matt. The episode’s production number was 7G44, the title was Dead Bart.

In addition to getting angry, asking anyone who was on the show about this will cause them to do everything they can to stop you from directly communicating with Matt Groening. At a fan event, I managed to follow him after he spoke to the crowd, and eventually had a chance to talk to him alone as he was leaving the building. He didn’t seem upset that I had followed him, probably expected a typical encounter with an obsessive fan. When I mentioned the lost episode though, all color drained from his face and he started trembling. When I asked him if he could tell me any details, he sounded like he was on the verge of tears. He grabbed a piece of paper, wrote something on it, and handed it to me. He begged me never to mention the episode again.

The piece of paper had a website address on it, I would rather not say what it was, for reasons you’ll see in a second. I entered the address into my browser, and I came to a site that was completely black, except for a line of yellow text, a download link. I clicked on it, and a file started downloading. Once the file was downloaded, my computer went crazy, it was the worst virus I had ever seen. System restore didn’t work, the entire computer had to be rebooted. Before doing this though, I copied the file onto a CD. I tried to open it on my now empty computer, and as I suspected, there was an episode of The Simpsons on it.

The episode started off like any other episode, but had very poor quality animation. If you’ve seen the original animation for Some Enchanted Evening, it was similar, but less stable. The first act was fairly normal, but the way the characters acted was a little off. Homer seemed angrier, Marge seemed depressed, Lisa seemed anxious, Bart seemed to have genuine anger and hatred for his parents.

The episode was about the Simpsons going on a plane trip, near the end of the first act, the plane was taking off. Bart was fooling around, as you’d expect. However, as the plane was about 50 feet off the ground, Bart broke a window on the plane and was sucked out.

At the beginning of the series, Matt had an idea that the animated style of the Simpsons’ world represented life, and that death turned things more realistic. This was used in this episode. The picture of Bart’s corpse was barely recognizable, they took full advantage of it not having to move, and made an almost photo-realistic drawing of his dead body.

Advertisements

Act one ended with the shot of Bart’s corpse. When act two started, Homer, Marge, and Lisa were sitting at their table, crying. The crying went on and on, it got more pained, and sounded more realistic, better acting than you would think possible. The animation started to decay even more as they cried, and you could hear murmuring in the background. This crying went on for all of act two.

Advertisements

Act three opened with a title card saying one year had passed. Homer, Marge, and Lisa were skeletally thin, and still sitting at the table. There was no sign of Maggie or the pets.

They decided to visit Bart’s grave. Springfield was completely deserted, and as they walked to the cemetery the houses became more and more decrepit. They all looked abandoned. When they got to the grave, Bart’s body was just lying in front of his tombstone, looking just like it did at the end of act one.

The family started crying again. Eventually they stopped, and just stared at Bart’s body. The camera zoomed in on Homer’s face. According to summaries, Homer tells a joke at this part, but it isn’t audible in the version I saw, you can’t tell what Homer is saying.

The view zoomed out as the episode came to a close. The tombstones in the background had the names of every Simpsons guest star on them. Some that no one had heard of in 1989, some that haven’t been on the show yet. All of them had death dates on them. For guests who died since, like Michael Jackson and George Harrison, the dates were when they would die.

Advertisements

You can try to use the tombstones to predict the death of living Simpsons guest stars, but there’s something odd about most of the ones who haven’t died yet. All of their deaths are listed as the same date.

  2. i liked squidwards suicide better, not going to lie but that was a little more eerie than this plus i uploaded the dead bart video to youtube

  3. i dont understand why people dont really like this one. its actually really good compared to a lot of others

  4. This is my 2nd creepypasta rating. A 2-parter, story and video. For the story, this I can imagine as a real episode, except that of course if it actually aired it would prolly either 1. Turn out to be “just a dream” or somesuch, so Bart wouldn’t really be dead and the series could continue as normal, or 2. Be an especially dark series finale.

This really didn’t scare me (the dates of the actors’ deaths on the tombstone is the creepiest part), just seems sad. I give it 5/10. There are a few logic problems/unanswered questions here. Some I won’t pick at cause, hey, it’s The Simpsons, how much logic can you expect?

But some things bug me. 1. Why would Matt Groening kill off the show’s most popular character? Was this originally intended to be the last episode? If not, how did he plan to continue the series without Bart? 2. Why was he so upset about it? And why all the secrecy? Yes, it’s sad that Bart died, but it’s not unheard of for this sort of misfortune to befall a cartoon character, it just isn’t usually the star who dies. There was nothing exceptionally shocking or disturbing about the actual “lost episode” itself. 3. Why did Matt give the website to this story’s author, if it is such a closely guarded secret? And why was the lost episode even ON a website (even with the protection of a virus boobytrap), if it is such a closely guarded secret?

Best I can figure, the real secret to the whole thing lies in the final “actors’ death dates on the tombstones” scene. Apparently Matt has some kind of gift for knowing when people are going to die (or at least, when Simpsons guest stars are). And apparently many of them are due to depart on the same day.

Did Matt forsee some horrific accident/attack/natural disaster (like a fire or a bombing) occuring at the site of a Simpsons actors reunion, perhaps? And felt compelled to save them by ending The Simpsons early on in the most drasticlly final way possible (with a cryptic explanation why in the final scene)? But then why did he ultimately not air this episode and instead continue the series? Answers lead only to more questions with this pasta.

As for the video, it’s just lame. 2/10 It’s obviously just bits of normal Simpsons eps awkwardly spliced together and garbled. Would’ve only given it 1/10 were it not for the shot of Bart’s “photo-realistic body” around the 2:08 mark. Looks like someone laid their Bart Simpson doll on the ground and took a photo, but it’s mildly creepy in context, so a point for effort.

  5. There is a much better and much longer version of this creepypasta that is much more complete than this one (screenshots and videos included). I’ve read it long ago and it gave me the chills for fucking ever. Someone should find it and post it again; it was one of the best cp’s I’ve ever read.

I’m Sorry to Burst Your Bubble, But Dead Bart is not Real. I Actually have The Simpsons Complete Season 1 DVD Set and I happen to Notice that The Clips of Dead Bart are just from Old Existing Simpsons Episodes Edited over to make it Creepy. However, It is a Very We’ll Written Creepypasta and I liked it. 9/10

  7. People if you read this and you don’t like it then read these:
    Jeff the killer’s story
    Ben Drown’s story

OR EVEN SOMETHING RANDOM DEAR GLOB XD

  8. Not that bad, you had good vocabulary and you have the skills to make some good pasta. My only dislike is this isn’t very scary. At all. Try again, you have good potential.

  9. Oh my god, that was the biggest let down ever, it sounded SO GOOD at the beginning and was pretty popular but… WHAT A LET DOWN… I feel so dull after that massive drop…

  10. creepy 10 year old

Sorry to say but this is my last rating before I change my name to Minecraft Butter lover.
My rating is quite low or ten out of ten because I don’t know if Squidward’s suicide was made first or not and if it was than this was a steal off Squidward’s suicide.

  11. The Spongebob producers are lucky that Squidward Suicide video wasn’t shown or else Spongebob would be R rated or even X! You’re lucky I’m listening to BOTDf’s song Siq with a Q so that im in a good mood -_-‘

  12. This one wasn’t as creepy as Squidward’s suicide. I heard ,my heart beating. I had to take a break from reading it actually, this theory was okay, I got shivers down my spine once or twice, what got me was the skeleton part. Btw I get creeped out fast.

    With tons of respect, Amber

  13. thatguywiththebeanie

I kinda like this story. I’m kinda mixed on my opinion like what a lot of people, and like a lot of people my opinion is headed towards more of a ‘NO! NO GOD PLEASE NO! NO! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!’ but, it’s more of a ‘meh’. This story was a bit lacklustre and really had nothing going for it. It’s too ridiculous and tries too hard to be scary. By doing stuff which people do on crappypasta.com. Stuff like Bart’s dead corpse on top of the grave. I mean they make it sound gory and disturbing, but it just sounds stupid. I commented on Squidward’s Suicide, saying:’There’s somthing fascinating about the unknown.’ But this is not fascinating. As I was reading I just wanted to stop reading cause’ it was just boring and trying too hard to be like Squidward’s Suicide. Let me explain: It’s trying to out do the ending of Squidward’s Suicide, but the reason it was so good, was because the whole story was leading up to it and made a huge impact. But here it just comes to quickly and just leaves us with trying to be sad, disturbing and gory, all at the same time. 5 out of 10.

  14. The way he got the episode was pretty lame, and could have had a method that required less suspension of disbelief. Otherwise, it was okay.

  15. It’s okay. Not entirely creepy pasta but at least I could finish it.

These lost episodes are always fun because they prey on our nostalgia. I especially liked Squidward’s suicide… creepy as hell.

  16. Guy Who Read Part 2

ALL OF THE CELEBRITIES DIE ON THE SAME DAY IN 2013!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Now you know.

  17. Hi. i work on computers, and have a few extra older ones around that i am getting rid of anyways. can you please tell me the link, so i can download it, and do pretty much what you did? i would like to see it. that is, if its true.

  18. Uh. Yeah. This is quite obviously a very poor rip off of Squidward’s Suicide. Realistic-looking death? Non-stop, progressive crying? Please for the love of God learn how to be original. Not to mention this just wasn’t very realistic at all. Squidward’s Suicide at least was well written enough to make it sound like it could have been true.

  19. NotSureIfTastyPasta

I Think the Creepy Part of the Story is that at the Cemetery, They had the Dates of Famous People on the Tombstones of when they Died, SO Pretty Much Matt Predicted Deaths :/
    5/10

  20. well if you look at a different site it says that the tape was found in a dumpster behind a mental instetution by 3 teens, the teens watched it, and at the end it showed a close up of dead bart staring. When it was over, one teen died 2 weeks later, another one went to a mental institution, and a third documented it, saying that if you stared at the photo long enough you see it blink

  21. Not as scary as suicidemouse or Squidward\’s Suicide, probably because it didn\’t ruin my childhood like those sort of did.
    0/10

  22. Wow, so Bart died. Big whoop. What about Kenny? Kenny dies all the time and you don’t see anyone making him a creepy pasta. I’m gonna have to say “Thumbs down” to this one.

  23. I did some researching on the web and what not, and found a couple legitly creepy vids on YouTube. The creepiest part for me though, was finding they later made another episode to put in the place of that one. The episode was called Moaning Lisa, and I was watching the very same episode on the VHS in my bedroom. I guess it’s not really creepy, but while listening to all the disturbing Dead Bart audio on YouTube, I found it….. Strange……

  24. The premise is unbelievable and, dare I say it, ridiculous. The creepiness is over-the-top and therefore cheesy, like something a five-year-old would write to try and sound scary. Worst of all, the twist ending comes out of nowhere, like a brick. If there had been some build-up to the ending then perhaps it might have been better, cringe-worthy even, but as it stands it just sort of appears and we’re supposed to find some sort of meaning in it.

  25. Okay, so, WHY would Matt Groening be upset about that? It makes no sense. Also, can someone link me Suicide Mouse and Squidward’s Suicide, from the comments? Thanks!

  26. My mother told me something similar when I first started watching The Simpsons.

It was mid-afternoon and my brother and I where in the car, my mother was driving. We had just seen the Simpsons movie about a week or so before hand. She told us that she noticed that members or guest stars all seemed to have an untimely passing after staring. Just after reading this post I asked her if she remember what she had said, she replied, “Yeah I remember that. Why?”
I told her about it, all while thinking in the back of my head, this is so strange because I had a conversation about this topic much before stumbling upon this. I just find it odd that this happened, so after reading I have to admit I find this very intriguing and believable.

  27. Ok so im confused. Is the horror or twist part of this whole pasta that there all dying the same date? Why is Matt Groening all sad? Is it, because he plans On killing them all? Or somehow knows the Date of the apocalypse. Im confused Explain!!!!!

  28. I kinda liked this one… But I feel like the whole ‘suicide mouse’ thing was a bit more powerful, if only because it was accompanied by a video to go with it ;3

  29. If this is real I would like the link. I don’t care what it’s like and as the saying goes I’ll only believe it when I see it. I love the simpsons and I can guess it was one of the really old episodes. So I would appreciate it if I had the official link. I WILL do a system restore too and basically i’ll burn it on a disk myself. So please send me a link if it’s true.

  30. this was OKAY, at best. i thought it was pretty creppy until they got to the stupid cemetary, where barts body is there. the other thing that killed it is the celebrity tombstones. spongebob one was better. 6/10

  31. Lol, whaaaat.

It seems like it was written by a Simpsons obsessed person… as though a character in a cartoon dying is really horrifying. I think they care too much about fictional characters and seem to think we all do too.

My reaction just keeps coming back to just… Whaaat?

  32. I agree with previous replies… if you don\’t know much about computers, please don\’t try to write about them. That bit ruined the pasta for me. I\’m pretty sure you meant \"reformat\" when you said \"reboot\". A reboot is just turning the computer on and off again. It works okay for minor errors. A reformat is completely wiping the system and starting from scratch.

It would have been cool if the \"virus\" possessed the PC, maybe made the monitor go haywire and flip through all sorts of colors and patterns (and maybe you see some creepy things in the randomness) or maybe if the screen went completely black and just started printing seemingly random numbers (which turn out to be the dated carved into the tombstones). If the \"virus\" is supernatural, you can go nuts with symptoms.

As for the animation, if the entire thing was created by just Groening that would explain the low-quality animation. Look at the early episodes from the Tracy Ulman show, that\’s what I pictured. Also, when he described the \"photo-realistic\" shot of Bart, I pictured the way they used to do it on the old Ren & Stimpy show, where all of a sudden they\’d cut to a brief shot of like a big fat guy and it was so detailed you could see the pores on his hairy belly and the boogers coming out of his nose.

Anyway, pasta had a lot of potential, but overall ruined by the poor writing. 4/10

  33. I can confirm that this is from GameFAQs like a previous commentor. Though I wasn’t on the Cartoon board when this was posted, I recognized the “KI Simpson” screen name from GameFAQs. He used to troll the GameCube boards in like 2004 and still posts on scattered boards today. Had no idea that his screen name actually pertained to The Simpsons.

  34. what the fuck is this shit. the start wa s good and i actually thought the ending would ~creep me out~ butyou just made we wanna baw when you mentioned george harrison’s death. why. ;____;

  35. That was actually pretty creepy. The guest stars dying on the same date maybe suggests some kind of apocalypse or something, or maybe it’s just a lazy ending. I’d rather watch this than any Simpsons episode from the last decade anyway.

  36. I dont get it. You should give the browser so we can say if its true lmao.Jk. i would give the browser because i wanted to freak peepz out HAH.

  37. This is aimed more towards sadness and hopelessness then horror imo, atleast that’s what I got from reading it, I liked this pasta for it’s general “all hope is lost” feeling rather then horror, honestly when it came to the part where springfield is completely deserted it felt kind of dark and bleak, good read tough but not what I call creepy.

  38. This was one of the first pastas i read and it was quite nice, really felt creepy but there area few points that ruin it at least a bit.

The ending of course or the mysterious super computer virus was quite overblown. It’s actually nice if such stories try to remain OFF the supernatural and are just plain “wrong” so to say.

  39. Not very well constructed. I’ve met Matt and asked about a lost episode type thing before and got no reaction. He just said that to his knowledge, there were no missing episodes. So … 1.5/10

  40. Sigh, people that know anything about computers can pick that story apart within seconds.

‘Once the file was downloaded, my computer went crazy, it was the worst virus I had ever seen. System restore didn’t work, the entire computer had to be rebooted. Before doing this though, I copied the file onto a CD. I tried to open it on my now empty computer’

After reading the rest of the CP, I assume the file was a video file, I’ve never heard of an eg. .wmv somehow giving you a virus…

How would the computer go ‘crazy’ without you actually opening it?

It was the worst virus you’d ever seen, and yet you managed to copy it to a CD?

System restore didn’t work, you had to turn the computer off and on… Wait, what?

And how did you open this video on an ’empty computer’?

    Alright, I digress.

  41. @emma – oh man, have you seen the crazy conspiracy theories about “Knowing”?? Ever since someone noticed that one of the news reports in the background of one of the scenes is talking about an oil rig catching fire in the Gulf of Mexico, the crazies have been all over it. It’s awesome.

What is it about “lost episode” pastas that compels the author to say that the particular episode had poor animation or art? I can’t imagine bad animation actually being scary in real life.

  42. Hey Jax, I haven’t seen any of your stories on the forums, let alone the main site. What’s the proverb? If you’ve got nothing to say, go shove your hand up your ass until it comes out your mouth? Something like that.

  43. yea this is almost the exact plot of a movie. They think this woman is crasy and then they realize her “insane” writting predicted all the major desasters and # or deths for like a long time and the last one said sometyhing that they later realize means everyone else and the world ends on that day

  44. I don’t much like this one, and I don’t have a particularly good reason. It’s mostly just that linking this with The Simpsons of all things doesn’t really sit right with me.

@Waave: No, that wouldn’t make it better. Even more than it featuring graves for guest stars that hadn’t yet appeared or were unknown at the time, what really sells it as “something unnatural”, rather than a weird coincidence… at least from my perspective.

  45. I enjoyed it. I think that the way the fake episode is described could have been a little more credible, however.

I also agree with the whole “I DLed it and it destroyed my computer BUT i made a CD first” thing not being very believable. There are some extra details there which make the story less credible not more – might as well just remove them.

With some edits, this story could be pretty solid.

  46. One thing that would have made this story better is if it didn’t have the whole “It even had the dates for the celebrities who have died later” crap. If it would of just stayed for the same date, it would seem more scary, like a serial killer that would’ve killed them if they had not died before, and he was just planning something for the rest of them. I dunno, that’s just my opinion.

  47. all the ppl whining about how there are better stories on the forums are giving me visions of butthurt

maybe your stories arent as good as u think they are???

  48. First, I have to say I’m honored that my story got officially posted on this site. While I certainly don’t mind criticism, I do feel a need to clarify that this story was written in January, when, as far as I’m aware, Suicide Mouse was the only similar lost episode Creepypasta (Candle Cove was also a direct inspiration, but people don’t seem to connect it to the lost episode genre like I do), so it’s not really fair to call the story a tired cliche of the lost episode sub-genre.

  49. Charlotte Mander

    A few gripes.

First off, I didn’t really think that a Simpsons based pasta was going to be all that good in the first place, and I happened to be right, based on what Ahmenthi said about it being overdone and forced to hell and back, and this:

How do you play a movie file on a crashed computer that is wiped completely blank? Wouldn’t that rid you of any means to play the movie?

Please try something different next time.

    –Char Mander

  50. And the vivid description of the episode sure is creepy, I’ll give you that(though, frankly: “almost photo-realistic drawing of his dead body”? Was anything ever nearly photo-realistic in the Simpsons, moving or not? That’s pretty pointless.) But, as with lots of other pastas, the ending can wither make it or break it. This one is broken by an ending paragraph that seems to have been coined in a hurry.
    +1

  51. I agree, this is failpasta.
1.) Virus is the “worst ever,” included in the file, but mysteriously disappears with a simple reboot? That’s not that bad, really.
    2.) Photorealistic cliche.
3.) Nothing really happens. Just crying and blah blah. There’s no hook.
    4.) Apocalypse implication cliche.

  52. I’ve read this so many times on /b/ and /x/ that’s its not even funny. Shame on you for posting this PHONE. >.<

  53. Not gonna try to lie, I was slightly creeped. Probably because I’ve never seen an episode of The Simpsons. And I’m a huge Beatles fan. Sors.

  54. Having grown up watching The Simpsons this is pretty creepy.

Much better than the average creepypasta.

  55. Okay, as much as these Lost Episode pastas are overdone, I sort of like them for some odd reason.

I’ve read mostly all of them, but a Family Guy one? Somebody tell me where to find that one. And the one about Spongebob other than Squidward’s Suicide.

  56. Hmm, I haven’t even heard of “Suicide Mouse” or “Squidward’s Suicide” before. So this pasta gets a 8/10.

  57. there’s a real scene in Bomber Mouse, an old black and white UK toon that’s pretty hard to find. In episode 12: Base Rat, the main character Albert the Mouse is stationed on a war base in Africa. He’s terrified of the German army, so he runs when he hears thunder thinking it’s germany guns or tanks. He stumbles down the beach holding on to his helmet, and stumbles over a genie bottle. He rubs it, poof, genie comes out. Anyhow, they talk about how he can make one wish, and he keeps thinking out loud about wanting the war to be over. Then the genie finally shouts “MAKE YOUR WISH!” Of course, Albert wishes for all the cheese he can eat. However, when the genie shouts “Make your wish,” he’s not looking at Albert. He’s “looking” toward the screen, the viewer. They say if you make a wish just at that moment, whatever you wish for will come true, with twisted results (just like in the book the Monkey’s Paw). I saw the cartoon once when I was a boy, but never caught on and didn’t make a wish or anything of the sort. However, since hearing the story, I’ve always wanted to see it again. It’s hard to find.

  58. All lost episode pasta is lame and overdone at this point, especially since this one in particular has been forced to hell and back.

  59. let me parrot what everyone else was saying, this is just like suicide mouse. Except I thought suicide mouse was generally creepy and disturbing (if obviously fake) and if I saw some animation for this story I don’t think I could take it seriously enough. I mean… it’s the simpsons.

  60. OMG THIS IS THE MOST MEMORIABLE PAASTTA EVER HOW CAN SUCH A FRESH AND ORIGINAL DISH HAVE BEEN SERVED IT IS ALNMOST MIND BLOWING HOW GREAT THIS PASTA IS WHY HAVE NOBODY EVER WRITTEN SUCH A DELICACY IN TEH PAST 9001/10 INTERNETS TO YOU GOOD SIR

  61. This idea got kind of dull after the Suicide Mouse and Squidward’s Suicide stories (which in my opinion were better). I mean, it was ok, but it’s just another ‘Oh, let’s write a story about a freaky missing episode from a popular cartoon series!’.
    6/10 for effort.

  62. Not gonna lie, the “lost episode” thing is an instant killer for me. The first paragraph had me writhing in agony.

That being said, it turned out okay. Some parts were a bit silly, like Bart’s body showing up everywhere, but it wasn’t actually painful to read and the ending was a little unnerving.

Considering the pastas that have been showing up recently, 7/10.

  63. This wasn’t bad, the Simpsons is good for this kind of pasta because it already is quite subversive and dark in many ways. I though the dead guest stars bit was needlessly shoehorned in, it could have a better ending in the vein of the rest of the story.

  64. What the fuck man.

You can’t run a CD without an operating system.

Horrific computer knowledge = shitty pasta.

    0/10

  65. Child of Shadow

    THEN WHO WAS CARTOON?!
Not scary, but I was watching Simpsons when this came on :/.

This pasta could use some sauce.

  66. It actually was inspired by Suicide Mouse. See, there was a thread on the Cartoons and Animation board of GameFAQs dedicated to the Suicide Mouse pasta, and later everyone was coming up with their own “lost episode” stories in response to it. That’s where pretty much all the Suicide Mouse derivatives were written.

  67. Your Mum, it’s a bit like that + raping of childhood memories; however the main creepy part is that it lists when guest stars on the Simpsons dies, and all the ones who aren’t dead yet are listed as the same date.

  68. WHAT THE HEEEEEEEEEEEELL. why was this about the simpsons? why was the body drawn so realistic….i dont get it :S
atleast it wasnt boring..but it had no ending.?

  69. its creepier when you’re a big fan of The Simpsons and you know about all the stuff the writers do with the show and know.

  70. I was sick of this pasta already before I’d read it. I just got on /x/ one morning and it. Was. Everywhere.

I mean, Jesus Christ, what the fuck.

It would have been decent if not for its overused meme status over on /x/, I think…

  71. I have seen five stories exactly like this.
    One with mickey mouse.
    One with Spongebob.
    One with the Rugrats.
One with I think it was Family Guy,
    and now This.
I thought the spongebob one was the scariest…
    It gave me nightmares.
    This is about a 2/10

  72. It did remind me of Suicide Mouse as well. But I’m not gonna call it a rip-off.

The lost episode itself seems to have more “plot” than the Suicide Mouse cartoon, for one. Also, the focus quickly changes from the incredibly depressing cartoon to the ending.

    So, a 5/10.

  73. suicide mouse at least had creepy video. wouldn’t you try to upload it to youtube if you supposedly had such a video?

though groening’s breakdown would make more sense nowadays, not around the first season when it was good.

  74. Older than Arceus.
Suicide Mouse and Squidward’s Suicide are better “lost episode” pastas. This is just average.

  75. DarkDecapodian

The fact that someone managed to create a creepypasta centred around The Simpsons makes this interesting enough to read. On its own it’s a pretty average story, but if somebody made an accompanying video like suicidemouse or Candle Cove, that’l elevate this to delicious.

  76. ….system restore didnt work, it had to be rebooted….if a system restore didnt work rebooting wouldnt, it would be otherwise rebooting didn’t work, I had to do a full systems restore

    1. i noticed that.
i wonder if they meant to say reformat…
i work in i/t and often people mistakingly say reboot, but mean reformat.

  77. Yeah, that was totally not very interesting until the last bit. All the same date? Intriguing. Too bad it had to be on an episode of the Simpsons >.>

  78. very suicide mouse esque.someone should really do this to the guy that it mentions, and tape the reaction secretly. who knows.

  79. I don’t get it. There was an episode of The Simpsons in which Bart died and everyone gets freaked out by it. Is that it?

        1. technically it isn’t a rip off because squid ward’s suicide came out before suicidemouse.avi
