Poem of fractured mind
Doctors and nurses digging through my head
Stitching through psyche like needle through thread
Picking through all of the places in mind
Searching for something that they’ll never find
Looking for feelings and workings and cures
They think they can help me…
But they can’t, I am sure.

They think ink blots and head shocks will break down my chains
But these only bring physical, additional pain
I can’t understand what they hope to achieve
My confessions and stories that they won’t believe
And if they won’t listen then what shall I do?
The voices in my head provide no help to.

And most of the time, they place me in my cell
My own personal, padded and very small hell
Again, this is something they think will help me
But I don’t want to be here, I want to be free
Surely they know this, surely they care?
But it seems their concern vanished into thin air
It seems that they want to wash their hands of me
For what value to anyone is insanity?

Cool it with the poems, please
Maybe every once in a while, but it’s getting excessive

This… Was terrible. I can’t believe it got almost nine stars. It’s so vague and full of grammatical errors.. It sounds like something that would be etched into an over-emotional middle schooler’s composition book. Blech.

My obsession with poetry provides me with a bias, therefore I will summate this comment with criticism.

AABB, too easy. I keep saying this with the recent influx of poetry pastas that make it through, be more creative with the rhymes.

Also, people, poetry is a potent and wonderful literary medium! Encourage it! It can be creepy.

i enjoyed it. i don’t see why u humans are getting irritated about simple poetry. laziness perhaps. or maybe your mind is gone. do you not know that you can simply scroll to the next story? i do it often. when there are extremely long stories. every reader knows long stories have sh*t endings. just like real life

I don’t care much for creepy pasta poetry, but even with that said, I rather like this little poem.
